Carlos leads growth, customer experience, and market expansion at Good Landscaping. He built the service and sales operating model that drives the company’s customer experience, introducing a best in class approach to communication, response times, and proactive account management that has significantly improved retention and client satisfaction.
Previously, Carlos helped grow Reno Green Landscaping, Good Landscaping’s parent company, into Northern Nevada’s top commercial landscaping platform. He now leads expansion at Good Landscaping, bringing a commercial first, service driven approach to new markets.
Before Reno Green, Carlos served as Chief Operating Officer of TAPP, Inc., a $200M+ manufacturing company with more than 1,600 employees across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. There, he led large scale operations and played a central role in securing and executing multiple $30M+ infrastructure projects while sustaining 25 percent year over year growth.
Carlos earned a BA in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Marcos Ortega leads operations for Good Landscaping’s Houston branch, overseeing all service delivery, field execution, and operational performance across maintenance, irrigation, and enhancements. He is responsible for building scalable operating systems, developing field leadership, and ensuring consistent quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across the market.
Marcos brings deep technical expertise and hands on leadership to all aspects of landscape operations. He works closely with property managers, account managers, and field teams to drive efficiency, accountability, and proactive service, while maintaining the standards required for large commercial portfolios.
Before joining Good Landscaping, Marcos served as Irrigation and Enhancement Manager at LMC, where he led multi crew operations across commercial properties and high value projects. Earlier in his career, he worked with SSC Services at Texas A&M and Bartlett Tree Experts, gaining experience across irrigation systems, arboriculture, and field operations.
Marcos holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Texas A&M University and is a licensed irrigator. He is bilingual and has extensive experience operating within enterprise landscape management platforms.
